I wish I could give Animal Hospital On Teasley Lane more than 5 stars. The staff provided excellent care for my puppy Chopper. He didn't mind going to the clinic and always responded well to the technician (I could tell by the way he wagged his tail). This place really goes above and beyond in their care for their patients, I really appreciated the care and love they provided, thanks!

Southridge is the absolute best facility I've ever had the pleasure of working with. I've had dogs my entire life, and so have lots of experience with animal hospitals, ranging from great to depressing. I've used them for general exams, testing, dental cleanings and surgery, so I've run the gamut. The care they take with my dog is exceptional, their "bedside manner" is just heartwarming, and the doctors are top notch, knowledgeable and kind. I can't recommend them enough. Thank you Southridge!

I've been taking my furry children to Southridge Animal Hospital since 1992. They've always taken excellent care of my pets. The staff are caring, professional and committed to providing the best and most compassionate care. They've treated my pets from puppy-hood to rainbow bridge. I wouldn't take my kids anywhere else. I trust them completely, whether it's annual checkups, treating broken bones, or boarding for a few days. They are simply the best.

This is the only veterinary hospital I will allow to treat my furry children. I have worked in the field for 10 years. This gives me a unique perspective on how medicine is practiced. After working for a decade as an Er nurse for animals I find I get the 3am phone calls before friends take their animals to the Veterinarian. Dr. Jones is VERY, VERY good at what he does, as well as the whole nursing staff and other veterinarians at Southridge Animal Hospital. I have referred over 20 friends to this facility and they are all very happy with the professionalism, fair prices and the care their beloved pets have received. Thank you so much for always being there for my babies. It is hard to relinquish control when you are used to being in the surgery room. Word travels in the field and Dr. Jones has a stellar reputation. I have never worked with or for Southridge Animal Hospital or any of their doctors. That being said, there is no other hospital I trust as much as Southridge Animal Hospital for the care of my furbabies. And that should tell you something. I more than highly recommend them and hold them in the highest esteem.

This was our first Vet visit in the Denton area and we're thrilled with the friendliness, concerned care, and wealth of information from Dr. Wright and his staff. Straight forward diagnosis with explanations at every step and information to judge future treatments by. The prices were very reasonable and the service was prompt. The doctors and staff are very kind and helpful. I've been able to make appointments for the next day and had to wait very little once I got to the office. Dr. Stevens is very friendly, knowledgeable, and explains things clearly. Very good medical care. The downside is an administrative one as they don't authorize any online pet pharmacies, and their prices for most pet medications (at least most of those I'll need to be giving my pet for the rest of his life) are nearly twice as expensive as online. They also won't write out a prescription to take with you or price match any other source. So, you're stuck going through them at high prices or finding another clinic.

Our dog went in for heart worm treatment and to get her stitches out. When we picked her up, they didn't tell us how to properly take care of her (in regards to her meds for heartworms), instead they just told us to read the medication bottles. This seems very rude and unprofessional. I've never had a pet with heartworms, and it would have been nice if they would have taken time to explain to us what was going on and how to continue her care. Also, even though they had her for a day and a half, they did not remove her stitches! We told them at least twice they needed to come out. I was very disappointed since the last experience I had here was a good one.

After Dr. Wright retired and sold his practice to Dr.Epstein things have not been the same. I have had puppies misdiagnosed. One of them even died due to the misdiagnosis. When going in for a check up if you don't ask the vet questions she will not volunteer information. She does not completely check the pet out unless you ask her to. But they will certainly charge you for a "vet visit" even if the vet only greeted you and physically glanced at your pet. Staff can be rude at times which is totally unprofessional. I'm very dissatisfied with the service I have received. I will not be using this vet again.

We have been going here for a long time. We loved Dr. Wright and we are still happy with changes that have occured. Dr. Epstein and her staff are courtious and kind. We had to bring in our old family dog of 17 years to be put to sleep. My mother was having a hard time dealing with letting her go this way. So it was a relief that the staff immediately took note of the situation, with a busy office of constant phone ringing, people, and their pet traffic. We came early but they found us a room as soon as they could. Dr. Epstien gave us the run down on what to expect if we chose to stay. Both she and her assistant were careful and loving to our little girl as we stood by. We were glad to say that she did go peacefully and we got to stay with her till the very end. Though this was one of the hardest decisions my mother had to make she said she was glad to have done it there because Dr. Epstien and her staff were so kind and knew how to handle delicate situations like this. So from the bottom of our hearts we thank you.

We ADORE Dr Wright, BUT some of his office staff are VERY rude and completely unprofessional. We have taken all of our pets there for a total of eight years. And we have always been pleased with Dr Wright! He is so compassionate and very thorough. His techs are also very sweet! I am willing to endure the terrible office staff just to get to see Dr Wright.

Our Molly is our baby and they took very good care of her. I even stopped in to check on her and then called a couple hours later to check on her again and everyone was so nice to us!! Thank you so much!! Molly is recovering very well! I would recommend this place and will be taking Molly back for anything else that she may need.

The absolutly worst vet I have ever taken my animals to. I've had pets for 45 years. When I relocated this vet was recommended to me. Never, ever take your pets there. I rescued two kittens, both were ill. Took them in and was told they had upper respitory infection & was given medicine. One kitten responded, the other did not. When I called & told them she had gotten worse, they gave me a different medicine without seeing the kitten. She got worse. When I called to bring her in, Dr. Wright asked if she was eating, yes, well then she will be fine in a few days, no need to bring her in. She was now very ill & I didn't wait a few days, I took her to a different vet, where she was diagnosed with FIP, which is deadly. Sadly I put her down, since there was no cure. Also, he mixed up the cats charts & when I corrected them, I was told I must have given them the wrong information. Not so. In order to post this review, I had to give them a star, they do not deserve a star as a rating, they deserve a review by the Veterinary Assoc of America.

Dr. Wright and the staff is wonderful. Dr. Wright was recommended to me by a co-worker after my puppy broke his leg and the first vet wanted to do surgery right away. He is honest and I would recommended the animal hospital to all my friends. I have only been there twice but I will continue to make my 45 minute drive there that is how I trust them.

These lovely doctors have always been incredibly kind to me and to my four-legged family members. When my cat had cancer and I had to make a humane decision, Dr Wright mourned with me at the loss of a member of my family. In treating my diabetic and allergy-prone pup, I've received only great advice, solid medical guidance, and I am confident that the care my beloved pup receives there is of the highest quality. If you are concerned about the cost factor - I can reassure you that their pricing is incredibly competitive! They will work with you to find a treatment option that fits with your budget. I wish Dr. Wright would treat people instead because if he did, he would be MY doctor! I have used him for over 5 years now with my foster, a Shar Pei Rescue and for my 3 personal dogs. He uses common sense and patience when dealing with the animals. He also has a great personality for dealing with people. Dr. Wright also donates his time every 3 months for the low cost vaccination clinic at the Denton Animal Shelter. He has a true love for animals that shows in everything he does. I cannot say enough good things about this man!

Thanks for getting us in at the last minute. My dog managed to cut himself pretty badly on bunch of branches that fell in our yard. You all got him to calm down, stitched him up and got us on our way in no time. I am so pleased with you, yet again!

The animal hospital on Teasley lane is everything you should expect in veterinary hospital. The place is clean, the staff is efficient and has impeccable bed side manner. I also appreciate that the prices are straight forward and reasonable. They contact you to give you status reports on your pet throughout the day and have always taken the time to answer all my calls about every little concern I may have had.

I've been fostering dogs for about a year. The Animal Hospital on Teasley Lane has always gotten the dogs in when anything has been needed, and their prices are reasonable. Even meds and maintenance products are very reasonable. The customer service from the office staff is outstanding. I highly recommend them!

I love this place. I actually have to drive a little further to go here, but I feel it is absolutely worth it. I've never had any problems with the staff, and the doctors are great, especially Dr. Granville, I've been taking my animals here for awhile now and I have never had one bad experience. I am so grateful to have found this hospital. We first came in March with one of our cats who has pretty serious allergies, and decided to stay with the practice. I had made an appointment to get our bulldog spayed (I did not want to leave her overnight and didn't have to) and went in for visit first. Set the appointment and the night before I thought I would look at reviews.. and wow it kind of scared me and I almost backed out, but decided that I would go ahead and take her in because the first visit went good. Well I am glad that I did!!! I had no problems with the staff or anyone!

Not overpriced then other Vet's I have used before and the office is very inviting and clean. I am very surprised by the poor ratings that Dr Wright and his staff received. I work with an animal rescue group who uses Animal Hospital on Teasley Ln. a great deal. I have nothing but praise for the treatment I and my fosters have been shown. I am sometimes in the office 3 or 4 days a week sometimes AM and PM dropping off and picking up my charges. There have been times when my worries came off as unhappiness with them and they showed great concern. I have never seen either vet treat any animal with anything but love and care. The office staff has been friendly and accommodating as well. If I had that poor an experience I believe I would ask for a private chat with Dr. Wright to discuss it. He has always been a kind listener to my health concerns for my fosters and never rushed me or avoided questions.

Dr. Wright was awesome with my foster dog Bruiser! Before I got Bruiser he was hit by a car and left on the roadside to die. Dr. Wright volunteered to treat this poor little guy and did a fabulous job patching him up. Dr. Wright also called me to check on his progress. The staff was very helpful and friendly too. They didn't remember who my dog was at first, but they were really caring and patient with me while I asked a TON of questions. I would definetly recommend Dr. Wright. He is a very caring low cost vet.

Dr. Wright was awesome with my foster dog Bruiser! Before I got Bruiser he was hit by a car and left on the roadside to die. Very, Very RUDE workers. The vet was good and I used him for all three of my dogs and puppies for over 8 years. After I had an problem with one of the puppies he refused to return my call until I contacted a lawyer for advise and she told me to give him an opportunity to fix the mistake. He found out I had contacted a lawyer and discontinued his services for me AND DID NOT FIX HIS MISTAKE. He did do good work but his new vet he is giving the company to is very inept and uninformed except from what books say. She has no REAL experience with large dogs and claimed a problem with my female needed $10,000 worth of services. After getting with doctor Wright it was taken care of by $10 meds. I WOULD NOT SUGGEST GOING HERE. FYI BROUGHT and BOUGHT is to different words Amanda. He does not sell dogs but you can bring them up there.

Dr. Wright has always been kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable. We have many vets closer to us, but since we got our first dog in 2003 we have used only him. He even waited to see if our Lab was Ok, before he headed home for the day. He was driving off and stopped when he saw us in the parking lot with our dog laying down in the back of the SUV. He had been sedated because his ears were too tender for administering medicine. Dr. Wright stopped and made sure everything was fine, and only left when I assured him that we were just waiting for the sedative to wear off so we could drive home without holding our 90lb lab. I'll be sad when he retires or if we move.

I've only had good experiences with Dr. Wright and this animal hospital. Yes, it is a small clinic, but that doesn't affect the care and attention we receive. My boyfriend's French Bulldog had a problem with his eye a year ago. He was low on finances and so called the clinic and explained his situation. To save a more expensive visit, the receptionist took down the problem, consulted the vet, and called him back promptly to let him know it sounded like a minor infection. They had prescription drops ready for us to pick up, which only cost about $10. DeMarcus (our frenchie) was better in a couple of days. The clinic also works to save us money by matching 1800Petsmed prices (minus shipping) which have the best prices I can find. If nothing else, I trust my dog feels safe with Dr. Wright. My Shepherd Mix, Witten, is generally scared of men he doesn't see regularly (including my dad and brother). I was worried with our last visit he might be scared of Dr. Wright and be difficult during the exam. To my surprise, he wasn't scared at all and was even complimented by the vet on how good he was!

This is the worst vet I have ever gone to. I knew when I was driving up and they were wheeling in a dead animal into the door where customers exit from, that this wasn't going to be good. The waiting room was very small and the greeting staff wasn't very friendly. Another person brought their dog in, to have it put to sleep and we had to hear all about the financing and had to deal with all the emotion that customer was going through. Not professional at all. The exam room was horrible and small. They left the back door open and we could see everything that was going on. I went in to have my dogs ear looked at after another dog and taken a bite out of it. I had already been to the animal ER the day before and the bandage had come off and her was bleeding again. The Dr. took one look at it and said there wasn't much he could do, so he put a band-aid on with some type of body bonding agent. He wouldn't even take off the e-collar and clean all the blood off and then tried to tell me that all the bandage around her neck was for the e-collar when I knew it was the bandage that had slipped of her ear. The exam room was very hot and the whole place just smelt like death. The only good thing about this visit was the assistant which also checked us out. She was great. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Thank goodness I found another vet after leaving that was able to sew up my dogs ear and did a fantastic job.

What an amazing veterinarian we found in Dr. Wright! He and his caring staff our an incredible group of people who care about their pet patients! We were told by an emergency vet clinic in Carrollton that our dog needed a $1000 surgery to fix a split, back paw. Fortunately, we listened to a friend who gave us Dr. Wright's name for a second opinion. Although his office was almost an hour from my home, I decided to take my chances since I knew there wasn't a possibility of paying for such an expensive surgery. Dr. Wright put in a few staples, bandaged his paw, and sent us on our way. No surgery needed! The next day, our huge pup was up and walking around. Thank you! Thank you, Dr. Wright and staff!

Love, love, love Dr. Wright. Several months ago, our Boxer became ill. We had taken him to a different vet originally, but were unsatisfied with their treatment plan. I came across Dr. Wright. He got Sargent in right away and was extremely dilligent. He was honest and compassionate. I felt as though he was treating Sargent as if he were his own. He helped us to understand exactly what was wrong and what to expect. He even called to check on Sargent after our last visit. Unfortunately Sargent was very sick (cancer) and didn't make it. We've adopted 2 new puppies this Christmas and have already scheduled them an appointment with Dr. Wright. I couldn't imagine taking them anywhere else! I would HIGHLY recommend them.

Dr. Wright and his team are the best. I wouldn't go anywhere else. There are a lot of vets in my area, but I drive 30 minutes each way to the Animal Hospital on Teasley Lane. Unlike other clinics that order testing before trimming toenails, Dr. Wright and Dr. Epstein actually know how to diagnose. If they tell you that your pet needs bloodwork or other testing, you can take that to the bank. They really care about your pet's welfare and your pocketbook. Keep up the great work. Dusty

review time, Dr. Wright is a great vet, who seems to have a true love of animals, and the compassion and care of the animals and thier humans. He is honest, and reminds me of a older country vet who treated the animal, not his pocket book, price wise he is very reasonable, and he takes the time to discuss your animal and the treatments, care, needed. His staff has always been friendly, and I would recommend anyone to him...

I love that this Clinic has gotten such positive reviews. I should have written one a long time ago. We have had our dog for about 7 years. When he was 3, he had secretly gotten a hold of a corn cob. We found out a few months later when he got really sick. Dr. Wright was confident he knew something was stuck and where it was, but it wouldn't show up on x-rays. Instead of sending us for thousands of dollars worth of testing, I took a deep breath and trusted him. The surgery went great, the discovery was made, and our dog was all better. Dr. Wright even called us on a Sunday morning to check on him! That's more than our own doctors do! I love this place and will also continue to travel the 45 minutes for the wonderful care my animals receive!

I am very glad i made the 45 minute trip to denton for my dogs care. She had a slight positive test for heartworms on friday. I called them friday afternoon and she had an appointment to come in monday for treatment. i was quoted a very expensive price and as a single mother of three and full time student i couldnt afford it. we were heartbroken as our only option was to put her down, until we learned about this facility. They saved my dog, and we are very thankful. I pick her up tomorrow and my family is so happy to still have her. Thank you dr wright and your staff. they were very understanding and got her back very quickly.

Dr. Wright was recommended to me as a vet that would help me with my quest to rescue dogs from shelters. He has shown to be very caring, fast, and honest - no frills here! When I was in a pinch, he did a surgery for me so fast without a problem. He is the best!! If you need something, you can call and they will mail it to you. He goes beyond the call of duty, and there aren't rigorous rules. He is flexible and extremely helpful.

I've always had an excellent experience at the Animal Hospital on Teasley Lane.  I first started visiting here when I first adopted a dog back in 2008.  From there on, I have brought everyone of my animals in to this hospital.  Dr. Wright is no longer in charge (from what I can see), but that hasn't changed the quality of the service my animals have received.  Visits can get a bit pricey, but I'm willing to pay that price when the service has constantly been excellent.

I had the absolute worst experience with this animal hospital. The staff is incredibly rude and Dr. Epstein was no better. We adopted our beloved dog from the denton animal shelter and he quickly fell ill. We had him for 7 days in total and five of those days were spent at the veterinary hospital. He was misdiagnosed several times and put on several different medications which only made for more symptoms. Finally on day 7 we called the animal hospital to see if we could get our pup in immediately as he was unable to get up on his own! The staff told my husband that the soonest he cold get in was 11am so we rushed him there at that time and as we carried him in my husband was already in tears and the staffer gave us the "hold on a sec" finger while she chatted on the phone for another 5 min!!! Literally five minutes went by as we stood there with our near death baby!!! When we were finally able to get in to see the doctor she was absolutely cold and and non sympathetic. She said she thought our baby had distemper and there was nothing she could do but give him fluids and asked us if we wanted to have him tested for it --- ABSOLUTELY-- she then told us it would take several days to come back and we agreed it was ok. We left that day with the pup on fluids to be observed and the following morning we got a call that my sweet pup had died in his sleep. My husband burst into tears and all Dr Epstein could tell him was that "things may have turned out differently if we'd brought him in sooner" -- she blamed my husband!!! How cold hearted and cruel can you be? And how much more could we truly have done? Our pup was literally in the animal hospital 5/7 of the days we had him??? We expressed the urgency!  She also was sweet enough to let us know we could get our money back from the shelter! OH THANKS that's just what we want to hear!!! The following days I called periodically to find out the results from the test I wanted to be able to warn the shelter if indeed it was distemper- day after day "we don't have the results yet" - then finally about a week later my husband calls and the staff tells him that they are " unauthorized" to give us the results to the test and we'd have to talk to animal control for any results. OK WHAT??? Has anyone heard of that?? Well we did contact animal control and they were able to tell us the truth. Dr. Epstein lied about administering the test and actually never did it at all. We'll never know what really happened and if there is room for concern for the shelter. Animal control also called the shelter to find out what the cause of death was and the staff said that our babe had been put down during a seizure NOT that he past away in his sleep. I would highly recommend anywhere else! They are rude and lie! I now go to Dove creek animal hospital and absolutely love it!! They are brilliant happy people in there! And it's right next door to the animal hospital :) make the switch!!

We love Dr. Wright. He has been seeing our one boxer for 5 years and our other boxer for 3 years. He always makes sure we know the cost before he preforms any work. I love that he gives me more than just one option. Also they price match on Medications and are open on Saturday. Great place to take your pet!

I want to thank you so much for helping my little puppy. He was constantly throwing up and I didn't know why. I took her to the Animal Hospital on Teasley Lane and they were able to find out what was wrong and help her. I can't thank you enough.

I'm visiting in the Dallas area this summer and my cat got sick suddenly. I did some hasty research and found VCA love field. I requested an appointment online around 1:30 am and the next morning I got a call offering an early morning appt. So incredibly pleased with the follow through of this vet clinic. The expense was what I expected. Very kind staff- when I got the call that morning and heard ""Hello, I'm calling from VCA Love Field, I saw that your baby is sick?"" I KNEW I found the right place! Very positive experience, I highly recommend them. Should I have to go the vet again, I know where I'll be headed.

I have been going to Love Field Pet Hospital for over 20 years. I know that what I am being told is honest and that they care about me and my animals. I recently lost two dogs within a month of each other. Dr. Fiedler called me twice to talk to me to be sure I was OK. I know my animals will receive the best care there. I will continue to use this vet's office until the doors are closed!!

I recently switched from City Vet and have nothing but praises for everyone at Love Field Pet Hospital. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. My dog had an emergency bladder issue and they fit me in within the hour. Dr. Kevin Sinapi was extremely caring when treating my dog. When other places told me surgery was necessary, he was able to cure my dog without cutting. I feel that they are honest and put the animal first and don't perform unnecessary test/operations like many other clinics in the area. They won my business for life and I would recommend anyone in the Dallas area to these fine people.

I have been going to LFPH for over fifteen years. The staff and the Doctors are professional, compassionate and reliable. Their guidance over the years concerning my pets through all the stages of their lives (and mine) has been heart warming. I cannot say enough about these wonderful men and women. I trust them with my precious pets and thank them for their genuine concern.

Doctors Fiedler and Turner are the best vets in the city. They have been caring for my dog through a very difficult illness. I could not ask for better care (for my dog and for me) through tough times then I received from these vets. They take whatever time you need to carefully explain the illness and proposed treatment plan. The ladies who work in the front office and the techs are also great. The people at Love Field set the example for professional and compassionate care for our beloved animals.

I drive across town to take my two dogs to these super vets. I have a Wire Hair and a Westie and these docs are always up on the breed specific problems that my two might face. They really care about your pets like they are their own. I can't say enough good things about the vets here!

For over 10 years I have taken all of my dogs to Love Field Pet Hospital. Last year I had to put down one of my mini weenie dogs, the charge to have this done (they said they didn't charge to put the dog down the cost was what I wanted done afterwards) to have him cremated was $100. I had to put down my last 17 year old mini weenie dog Chester last week. Grief stricken, I told them to do what they had always done. Today I picked up Chester and was presented the bill $242.75! I feel like I have been taken advantage of and totally ripped off. My partner and I have a 4 year old Australian Shepherd but we will be finding a new place to take her.

Really kind and caring and i always feel like I am in good hands at Love Field Pet Hospital. Both Dr. Robertson and Dr. Fiedler are AWESOME - I've never had a better experience at a vet!! I would recommend LFPH to ANYONE and EVERYONE. Dr. Robertson is GREAT. I just got two puppies and she called me at home after hours to make sure all my questions were answered! I would not trust my dogs anywhere but Love Field Pet! One side note - the vets are so awesome they spend all the time you need with you and your pet but I have rarely left there in under an hour! I never mind it though!
