08/03/2019 Alyse & Ron Brennan I was told when I brought him in to bring in the pieces of the Trifexis pills (2) that he didn't consume (I tried but couldn't get him to eat them, so I put them in food which he didn't touch). And when I came in, they were supposed to replace the pils (that's what the Girl said on the phone) but when I got there they said the Girl asked around to other Employees and they said they couldn't replace them, but would call the company and see if they would honor the replacement. I hope that does happen, because I was told that they would and could. Other than that, I have nothing but praise for your clinic and it's staff and Scotty really looks forward to coming and doesn't want to leave when we go in. Isn't that strange! 08/02/2019 Alyssa Boggs I always feel my pets are treated well here but the last time I boarded them I asked for Shelby (my pit-mix) to have her anal glands released because they were bothering her. Upon picking them up I was charged for their release, for an exam, for antibiotics of some sort and for a steroid injection. This all came as a surprise when all that I had asked for was the release of the glands. Although I believe these things might have been needed and don't directly disagree with them, for the extra 85 bucks I had to pay, I received no explanation as to why she had an exam, antibiotics or a steroid injection which seems to be important for the health of my pet. There was no follow up or exam notes that explained any procedure that was taken place not to mention the surprising cost as the bill rang up with no explanation of these services. Again, I don't believe anything was done wrong and do believe the staff is concerned for my pet but there lacked a major communication link between the vet/tech team and myself in an explanation of all of these services that I hadn't necessarily requested which rang up quickly. Would love to hear and understand what happened and if there is any at-home care I need to do or be mindful of in the future Yes archive

I think a water bowl for patients would be nice, my dog gets very stressed and worked up on the drive to your office and during her visit, and I forget to bring her water most of the time. 11/02/2019 Reba Gant The staff is wonderful! I've been burned by vets in the past and was pretty wary about bringing my boys in. They made us feel at home from the second we walked in the door and genuinely care about the patients and their families. I had to bring my puppy back in for an emergency and they went above and beyond to take care of him. We received better care than I've ever experienced, even in going to an M.D.! 04/06/2019 Sharon Baughman The staff answered all my questions and put me at ease about leaving my new puppy overnight . Her ear crop looks wonderful, laser surgery is amazing! I was surprised when my doctor called and let me know how the surgery went . He let me know that if I have any other questions or concerns don't hesitate to call. This was one of the most profession & friendlyiest offices. The waiting area was exceptionally clean and inviting. But, the staff is so quick I am sure most customers don't even get a chance to sit down. This pratice set the bar very high. Well worth the 45 minute drive. 02/21/2019 Kaitlyn Lydell We have really loved this per hospital and eagerly awaited bringing our new kitten here yesterday. We still like Dr. Dahlman and the office but had a bad experience with a woman named Amanda, who came in to the room initially before the doctor. She was very unpleasant, didn't focus on our new kitty (and the fact we had two recently die, so this is a big deal) but talked abut herself and het cat, etc, She was very condescending when talking about using the heart worm medicine. My partner was equally up off- she seemed almost hostile with quite an attitude, not at all like the usual atmosphere at this office. When we said we had scheduled with Dr. Dahlman after she mentioned another doctor coming in instead, her attitude got very snippy and irritated. I am hoping someone can speak to her, as we would hesitate to go back if we and our cat have to interact with her. Not warm and fizzy at all! Yes archive

She squeezed me in and was nice and personable. The dr was amazing and answered my questions thoroughly. She was very patient since my dog was a little nervous and worked with her to make her feel more at ease. The assistant who helped, I can't remember her name, I thin Katrina? was outstanding! 01/11/2019 Shannon Bunch I always feel my pets are treated well here but the last time I boarded them I asked for Shelby (my pit-mix) to have her anal glands released because they were bothering her. Upon picking them up I was charged for their release, for an exam, for antibiotics of some sort and for a steroid injection. This all came as a surprise when all that I had asked for was the release of the glands. Although I believe these things might have been needed and don't directly disagree with them, for the extra 85 bucks I had to pay, I received no explanation as to why she had an exam, antibiotics or a steroid injection which seems to be important for the health of my pet. There was no follow up or exam notes that explained any procedure that was taken place not to mention the surprising cost as the bill rang up with no explanation of these services. Again, I don't believe anything was done wrong and do believe the staff is concerned for my pet but there lacked a major communication link between the vet/tech team and myself in an explanation of all of these services that I hadn't necessarily requested which rang up quickly. Would love to hear and understand what happened and if there is any at-home care I need to do or be mindful of in the future Yes archive

11/20/2019 Monica & Tony Sandoval I was told when I brought him in to bring in the pieces of the Trifexis pills (2) that he didn't consume (I tried but couldn't get him to eat them, so I put them in food which he didn't touch). And when I came in, they were supposed to replace the pils (that's what the Girl said on the phone) but when I got there they said the Girl asked around to other Employees and they said they couldn't replace them, but would call the company and see if they would honor the replacement. I hope that does happen, because I was told that they would and could. Other than that, I have nothing but praise for your clinic and it's staff and Scotty really looks forward to coming and doesn't want to leave when we go in. Isn't that strange! I was surprised when my doctor called and let me know how the surgery went . He let me know that if I have any other questions or concerns don't hesitate to call. This was one of the most profession & friendlyiest offices. The waiting area was exceptionally clean and inviting. But, the staff is so quick I am sure most customers don't even get a chance to sit down. This pratice set the bar very high. Well worth the 45 minute drive. When we got Boomer home he threw up in the backyard, which isn't like him. I called immediately, she answered the phone and was very short with me again. When April got on the phone she was caring and concerned. I think the new woman needs to be talked to about the attitude you should have at a vet's office. There are numerous emotions you can have, depending on what's going on with your "child" and she needs to be more warm and compassionate. In my humble opinion. Upon picking them up I was charged for their release, for an exam, for antibiotics of some sort and for a steroid injection. This all came as a surprise when all that I had asked for was the release of the glands. Although I believe these things might have been needed and don't directly disagree with them, for the extra 85 bucks I had to pay, I received no explanation as to why she had an exam, antibiotics or a steroid injection which seems to be important for the health of my pet. There was no follow up or exam notes that explained any procedure that was taken place not to mention the surprising cost as the bill rang up with no explanation of these services. Again, I don't believe anything was done wrong and do believe the staff is concerned for my pet but there lacked a major communication link between the vet/tech team and myself in an explanation of all of these services that I hadn't necessarily requested which rang up quickly. The fact that 3 doctors were there to do the surgery was nothing less than a miracle in our opinion. We greatly appreciated Dr Bennett keeping us posted during the surgery. 07/31/2019 Kathy Socal I asked if de-worming treatment had any alternates to $51. each x 2 cats, but never got a answer until the dr and a tech discussed it with me. I made a list of costs for each cat, the same amount x 2 but was surprised with an added cost, and ended up spending approx $60. more than expected. My cats are very important to me. Unfortunately, I have a tight budget, so it was tough having to incur extra costs without notice. And I had called and asked, then asked again when my appt was confirmed. I would feel better if I knew what the costs were in advance, and those were the actual costs at the appt with the exception, of course, if something was found. They took such great care of my 5 month German Shepherd/Siberian Husky mix, Jeremiah. When other vet groups were turn me away due to lack of funds/credit they worked with me. And that's the way it should be. A vet doctor should want to take care of a pet rather than care about how much you worth. And my Jeremiah came out happy and unfrightened. But, the staff is so quick I am sure most customers don't even get a chance to sit down. This pratice set the bar very high. Well worth the 45 minute drive. 01/11/2019 Jeri Schloeman I was told when I brought him in to bring in the pieces of the Trifexis pills (2) that he didn't consume (I tried but couldn't get him to eat them, so I put them in food which he didn't touch). And when I came in, they were supposed to replace the pils (that's what the Girl said on the phone) but when I got there they said the Girl asked around to other Employees and they said they couldn't replace them, but would call the company and see if they would honor the replacement. I hope that does happen, because I was told that they would and could. Other than that, I have nothing but praise for your clinic and it's staff and Scotty really looks forward to coming and doesn't want to leave when we go in. Isn't that strange! This was one of the most profession & friendlyiest offices. The waiting area was exceptionally clean and inviting. But, the staff is so quick I am sure most customers don't even get a chance to sit down. This pratice set the bar very high. Well worth the 45 minute drive. 04/19/2019 Karen Stewart I always feel my pets are treated well here but the last time I boarded them I asked for Shelby (my pit-mix) to have her anal glands released because they were bothering her. Upon picking them up I was charged for their release, for an exam, for antibiotics of some sort and for a steroid injection. This all came as a surprise when all that I had asked for was the release of the glands. Although I believe these things might have been needed and don't directly disagree with them, for the extra 85 bucks I had to pay, I received no explanation as to why she had an exam, antibiotics or a steroid injection which seems to be important for the health of my pet. There was no follow up or exam notes that explained any procedure that was taken place not to mention the surprising cost as the bill rang up with no explanation of these services. Again, I don't believe anything was done wrong and do believe the staff is concerned for my pet but there lacked a major communication link between the vet/tech team and myself in an explanation of all of these services that I hadn't necessarily requested which rang up quickly. Would love to hear and understand what happened and if there is any at-home care I need to do or be mindful of in the future Yes archive

They made us feel at home from the second we walked in the door and genuinely care about the patients and their families. I had to bring my puppy back in for an emergency and they went above and beyond to take care of him. We received better care than I've ever experienced, even in going to an M.D.! 02/01/2019 Barbara & Benny Russell I was told when I brought him in to bring in the pieces of the Trifexis pills (2) that he didn't consume (I tried but couldn't get him to eat them, so I put them in food which he didn't touch). And when I came in, they were supposed to replace the pils (that's what the Girl said on the phone) but when I got there they said the Girl asked around to other Employees and they said they couldn't replace them, but would call the company and see if they would honor the replacement. I hope that does happen, because I was told that they would and could. Other than that, I have nothing but praise for your clinic and it's staff and Scotty really looks forward to coming and doesn't want to leave when we go in. Isn't that strange! 01/16/2019 Kim Eagleton I always feel my pets are treated well here but the last time I boarded them I asked for Shelby (my pit-mix) to have her anal glands released because they were bothering her. Upon picking them up I was charged for their release, for an exam, for antibiotics of some sort and for a steroid injection. This all came as a surprise when all that I had asked for was the release of the glands. Although I believe these things might have been needed and don't directly disagree with them, for the extra 85 bucks I had to pay, I received no explanation as to why she had an exam, antibiotics or a steroid injection which seems to be important for the health of my pet. There was no follow up or exam notes that explained any procedure that was taken place not to mention the surprising cost as the bill rang up with no explanation of these services. Again, I don't believe anything was done wrong and do believe the staff is concerned for my pet but there lacked a major communication link between the vet/tech team and myself in an explanation of all of these services that I hadn't necessarily requested which rang up quickly. Would love to hear and understand what happened and if there is any at-home care I need to do or be mindful of in the future Yes archive

I know everything has gone up in price, but having a vet bill over $100 just for the animal having a cold seemed really high--the shot of antibiotics was $50. It's hard enough living in Marin and trying to get by, and then to have to pay so much for the pets is really difficult. I paid mostly cash. Some places give a discount if a person pays cash. And when I came in, they were supposed to replace the pils (that's what the Girl said on the phone) but when I got there they said the Girl asked around to other Employees and they said they couldn't replace them, but would call the company and see if they would honor the replacement. I hope that does happen, because I was told that they would and could. Other than that, I have nothing but praise for your clinic and it's staff and Scotty really looks forward to coming and doesn't want to leave when we go in. Isn't that strange! 04/04/2019 Cindy Koiner I always feel my pets are treated well here but the last time I boarded them I asked for Shelby (my pit-mix) to have her anal glands released because they were bothering her. Upon picking them up I was charged for their release, for an exam, for antibiotics of some sort and for a steroid injection. This all came as a surprise when all that I had asked for was the release of the glands. Although I believe these things might have been needed and don't directly disagree with them, for the extra 85 bucks I had to pay, I received no explanation as to why she had an exam, antibiotics or a steroid injection which seems to be important for the health of my pet. There was no follow up or exam notes that explained any procedure that was taken place not to mention the surprising cost as the bill rang up with no explanation of these services. Again, I don't believe anything was done wrong and do believe the staff is concerned for my pet but there lacked a major communication link between the vet/tech team and myself in an explanation of all of these services that I hadn't necessarily requested which rang up quickly. Would love to hear and understand what happened and if there is any at-home care I need to do or be mindful of in the future Yes archive

I was surprised when my doctor called and let me know how the surgery went . He let me know that if I have any other questions or concerns don't hesitate to call. This was one of the most profession & friendlyiest offices. The waiting area was exceptionally clean and inviting. But, the staff is so quick I am sure most customers don't even get a chance to sit down. This pratice set the bar very high. Well worth the 45 minute drive. They made us feel at home from the second we walked in the door and genuinely care about the patients and their families. I had to bring my puppy back in for an emergency and they went above and beyond to take care of him. We received better care than I've ever experienced, even in going to an M.D.!
